 A  IDEALIZER

My journey in the world of education

Hi!

My name is Tatiana Möhler, better known as Tati or Ms T! I am passionate about the world of education, emotional intelligence, personal growth and communication.

My trajectory in the world of education started as for everyone, being a student! Unfortunately, I never really fit in with traditional upbringing, where my natural abilities were seen as rebellious and often disrespectful. I liked to talk (the famous chatterbox of the class!), interact, and I couldn't focus on classes (no one understood how to help me with the positive things that it represented to enjoy communication), often resulting in poor grades!

At the age of 15 my family moved to Thailand, where I had the opportunity to study in one of the best schools in the Southeast Asian and where my experience with education changed.

Those abilities seen in a negative way were embraced and nurtured until they became my superpower:

communication with clarity, public speaking, and curiosity! After all, my unease in the classroom was just me being me, with my misunderstood superpowers. So, I started to be seen as a resourceful student who became the school's poster girl for learning fluent English in record time (can you believe it?)! A surprise for everyone!

Transformative experiences in education made me feel capable, talented and seen,

and that transformed my school performance. At some point, we all ask ourselves: why do we exist? What difference can we really make in the lives of others?

For me, understanding that limitations are just perceptions inspired me to enter the world of education and make each child understand their potential in a respectful way, which today has become a school methodology.

Today, I share my residency between Brazil and Indonesia, where I co-founded The Hyouman, a startup that develops humanized education curricula, focusing on what we call children's superpowers: their natural abilities. After years working in international schools as a teacher, coordinator, and director, today I have the privilege of consulting, giving lectures, workshops, and bringing awareness to the teaching world.

I understand that there is no perfect formula, but we can use the knowledge that scientific advances  provide us to adapt and constantly improve the education not only of our children, but ours as well, because I believe that change in education will only be efficient and relevant if we start with us, adults.

I invite you to discover those talents that have already been classified as a problem. Let's embark together on the journey of learning through a humanized education that allows us to improve our lives and that of our children!

A tight hug,

Tati
